Kinda frustrating... it seems like there's no Wii Fit record to break for me anymore - except maybe Statistics haha... Serious, at the moment I can't even reach my own records in subcategories like Tightrope Tension and Jogging. Not to mention my decline in Wii Fit Rhythm Boxing... a wonder I'm still number one.

All in all, my old cowboy avatar perfectly fits that situation!

Wii Fit top players - update

As you can see on the table we got a new player on third position, oli1974. After the ban of renato macmoney he's next to challenge msimms and me, we'll see where it ends. He's definitely got talent and some nice gold medals in Free Jogging and Rhythm Boxing but it's a long hard way to the top...

Advanced Snowboard Slalom - new world record

Although it was a tied world record I never believed 28s01 was the best possible time for Wii Fit Snowboard Slalom level 2.
And yes, today player deg5y55 showed us a 27s98 record which I managed to equalize...

Wii Fit Ski Slalom world records - update

Now I just need the three Tightrope Tension world records to become the first perfect Wii Fit Balance player...

The 18s23 Ski Slalom Beginner record was nothing but fake, 18s26 is the one and only Wii Fit Ski Slalom level 1 world record. I think that's it.

On the one hand I don't like fake records...

On the other hand I'm thankful in some way. Without that person's level 1 fake record - 3 centiseconds better than mine which I chased for weeks - I would have never gotten so far in both Wii Fit Ski Slalom levels.

Try to beat these scores now, it won't be easy.

Active Life: Outdoor Challenge

Looks like a lot of fun, quite demanding and sweat-inducing.

Today I received my first Wii-Records.com gold medal in this game - Jump Rope 93 points. I predict it won't be the last one...

Wii Fit Ski Slalom world record broken

Like I told you I am working pretty hard on Wii Fit Ski Slalom. Yesterday I broke the level 2 world record, but that 18s23 level 1 record is still not doable for me. On the picture you can see the number of completed Ski Slalom tries and I think another 1.000 tries weren't completed...

...and I won't stop til I got both world records...

Update March 22nd: That 18s23 record was fake. Actual world record is 18s26. Mission accomplished.

Recently I just read a Gazza interview where he was talking about playing Wii. Here's a little excerpt:

“That was when my next addiction started. I got a Nintendo Wii game and started playing it 24/7 — literally every hour of the day. It’s not as if I’d doze off for ten minutes then wake up and start playing again — I wouldn’t have one moment’s sleep. I was playing the ten-pin bowling game and I became unbeatable. The future of Wii Fit at Wii-Records.com

After a turbulent week-end in Rhythm Boxing with lots of impressive new world records we now know that it is way too early for tied wiinners in Boxing, this game is not finished yet. In the short to medium term the Boxing world record holders will frequently change and so will the scores.

In the long run nearly all of the Wii Fit subcategories at Wii-Records.com here will have tied wiinners, yet round 30 of 89 subcategories are non-tied. More and more players stepping in competition lead to more tied world records, not only in Yoga and the Muscle categories but also in the Balance games. Sooner or later these game will have tied wiinners, too.

The near future of Wii Fit, however, might look a little different. Let's take a look at Wii Fit Aerobics, because this is the most interesting category by far. The six Wii Fit categories you can see on the picture above.

Three players will stay dominating the Aerobics top records in the near future: andrewbiles, msimms and cowboy.

andrewbiles will keep his three Free Step world records for a long time if not forever. There is no leaderboard on that game which makes his fantastic records extremely hard to beat.

Of course msimms will have his six Jogging world records, who else but him.

I will own the whole Hula Hoop thing, four world records with lots of points...

Free Jogging is comparable to Rhythm Boxing, we're gonna see lots of new world records in the near future of these subcategories.

To sum it up: Apart from round 70 United Nations flags on the near future Wii Fit top records page, we will see frequently changing flags on Rhythm Boxing and Free Jogging while the rest of the scores will be split into British and German records.

Although there are players on Wii-Records.com with way better Jogging results I may be able to give some hints how to achieve scores beyond 200%, even in level 1.

First you gotta learn how to jog on the spot with constant step speed all the time. Just don't get out of step.

Second you gotta make sure that you swing enough. Be easy, bend your knees, swing your arms, the Wiimote in your pants pocket has to cover a certain distance, that's the key.

Don't jog too fast, that game is not about speed. Good luck.

Okay, first we have Peter Steele, mastermind of Brooklyn based goth-metal band Type O Negative. Chronically depressed, obviously non-gamer.





Charlie Sheen. Stable character, successful husband. Was playing video games in his youth.





Next is Quentin Tarantino. Most likely a gamer because many of his movies became video games.





Of course Fifty is a player, no doubt about that.






Hitler. Started World War II. Non-gamer. Had no chance to let out his frustration about his missing testicle with playing Resident Evil 4 on Wii.






Seems like playing video games isn't as bad as they say...

Losing weight with Wii Fit

Yes, Wii Fit is an highly effective method to lose weight, but only if you do it right. And doing it right means doing it the hard way regularly - Jogging, Rhythm Boxing and Tightrope Tension in combination with Press-Up Challenges and Yoga exercises several times a week.

Wii Fit helped me to look almost as good now as I did 10 years ago, in fact it made me lose 10 kilos in 180 days.

Motivation should be enhanced by competition. Either competition with friends and family or - much better - with the whole world on Wii-Records.com.

While that level 1 score of 171 seems to be unbeatable level 2 is not finished yet in my eyes. Go!

How to make 202-jumps

Right, this is the cheats & hints corner... Today: Wii Fit Ski Jumping.

Before you start you should watch some Wii Fit Ski Jumps over 202 meters on YouTube. After that you can think of your approach. Bended knees, red on blue point and 96 kilometers per hour at the end, that's all you need. Jump early, but not too early. Jump cautious, but not too cautious. The red point should never move. Without permanent perfect balance 202-jumps are impossible. Good luck.

It’s all about competition

Since January 10th this year, the date of my Wii Fit takeover, there were only cautious comeback attempts by dethroned msimms, well-known for outstanding Wii Fit Jogging skills and total refusal of punctuation. Additionally, there was an attack by squall2455. Unfortunately Wii Fit Aerobics appeared to be his biggest problem and there's no way to become Wii Fit champion without meeting the challenges of these games.

I hope we will have more attacks in the future. It’s all about competition.

Introduction

An ’80s kid with his true first love, an Amiga 500, that’s how it all began. Hostages and Wings Of Fury, that was German Middle Class childhood in the ‘80s.

20 years later nostalgia got me again, installing an Amiga emulator on my laptop and playing Super Cars II with my colleague. An awesome time travel, maybe some of you can relate to that. Those times are gone now, although both Competition Pros still decorate my desk.

By the way, there was one downer. What I always missed while playing Amiga games was a saving scoreboard.

Well, my girl convinced me to buy a Wii. 6 months (or, to be precise, 60 Wii Fit hours) later I became the Wii Fit Top Dog with over 60 world records in that game, thanks to thiago and Wii-Records.com.

This blog is all about Wii Fit and Wii gaming in general, cheats & hints, losing weight and celebrities playing Wii Fit. It should give an insight into the world of the international elite of Wii players and - especially - Wii Fit players.
